Paul Greengrass, Directors
I'm Paul and I am the Director of QS Support, I have been a Quantity Surveyor and Claims Advisor for over 25 years, and have held significant positions on projects with values up to £75 million. I have been fortunate enough to work on contracts overseas in New Zealand, Australia, Africa and the European Union, and even today still being offered these exciting opportunities.
In recent times, I have specialised in claims, final accounts, and contract disputes. I have an extensive knowledge of project management techniques, the design and construction process and this is supported by my wide experience in all methods of construction dispute resolution.
In my spare time I enjoy fishing and spending quality time with my family and friends.
Joanna Ray, Admin Team
I’m Jo, and I started at QS Support in 2014 as an Admin Assistant, after becoming disillusioned with working in the Costume industry. I am now the Office Manager here and look after the day-to-day running of the business. I am responsible for managing our team here, as well as managing the work flow and any new clients that come to us on a daily basis.
Outside of work, I try to be active and have been telling myself I’ll join a volleyball team for about 2 years now. I love spending time with my friends and family, and I’ve got a substantial addiction to holidays.
Colin Shea, Senior Surveyors
I’m Colin, I have been working at QS Support for nearly 3 years, before that I worked for a large main contractor for many years and a number of smaller regional contractors. I am a full member of the Chartered Institute of Building and I hold a Masters Degree in Project Management for Construction. I enjoy the variety of work here at QS Support, as every day is different depending who, or what comes through the door and I still get a buzz from helping a ‘David’ take on a ‘Goliath’ to ensure they get their entitlement.
Outside of work, I enjoy cycling , I’m a member of the local cycling club, and if I am to be honest I really have far too many bikes. Despite a lack of aptitude and my advancing years, I still labour under the delusion that I should be playing football for England.
Joanne Greengrass, Directors
I'm Jo and I am one of the co-directors and founders of the Company. I am a qualified nurse who worked for the National Health Service, where after following numerous in-house training courses, I rose to the position of team leader, where a diverse multi disciplinary team of fifteen members of staff reported to me.
I have brought administration and management skills to the office, and currently responsible for the management of all our internal systems.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, playing netball and seeing friends at the weekends.
Stuart Curnow , Senior Surveyors
I have been in the industry for over 25 years and obtained my QS degree on a day release basis whilst working with professional quantity surveyors. After a short stint with 24/7, who merged with Seeboard to become EDF Energy, I decided to become a consultant and worked with contractors involved with groundworks, full construction, structural alteration and steelwork alterations, fit-out, plastering, decoration and all other aspects of building. I also worked with a number of PQS companies on a variety of projects, including high profile ‘claims’ from the middle-east. Commencing work with QS Support has been a breath of fresh air, with friendly colleagues and a varied portfolio of work.
In my spare time I enjoy walking my two Sprocker Spaniels, time with my family and standing on the side of a rugby pitch cheering on my sons’ team.
Kirsty Loader, Admin Team
I’m Kirsty and I started with the company in May 2016, I currently work in the admin department assisting our Office Manager and the Surveyors in day to day tasks. Another aspect of my work is to look after our social media and also keeping our website up to date.

Alex Farrant, Intermediate Surveyors
I'm Alex, I have had the pleasure of being on the team at QS Support since 2015, it’s always refreshing to work alongside such experienced and friendly individuals. I have come from a mechanical background and enjoy this aspect of the industry, with some projects exceeding the value of 2 million.
Away from work I enjoy my social life, music, sport and dad dancing.
Ellie Ray, Admin Team
I’m Ellie and I have been a part of the QS Support team since November 2017. My current role is in HR & Compliance, but I also spend a lot of my day assisting our Office Manager and Director with day to day tasks and work-flow planning.
