This project was the conversion of a listed manor house into 23 high end residential retirement apartments and 8 Mews Houses. This job is estimated to be around £20 Million pounds. The Developer is Shaylor Group. QS Supports responsibilities were, the measurement of the bill of quantities and management of demolition, ground work and steel work accounts.
The 49 acre site has been at the centre of previous planning disputes, including a failed attempt by local residents to have it listed as a community asset Plans were subject to a huge amount of criticism. Both Seal Parish Council and Sevenoaks Town Council argued against proposals. Despite issues cited by a number of campaigners, the application was given the green light at a development control committee meeting.
