Our Projects

Bishops Hall, Kingston

£4.1 million

Project value

January 2020 - On going

We are supporting our private development clients in this exciting and ambitious project comprising of 26 luxury modern apartments.

Located in the centre of Kingston upon Thames, this riverside property was developed from the partial demolition and construction of a 5 storey building. The building previously housed unused office space and an empty retail unit. The luxurious apartments are home to ideal layouts which are the perfect mix of form and functionality.

Our Mission:

Our mission has been to ensure our client’s budget was met when awarding the contract. Challenges have arisen due to the nature of COVID and the impact of the global pandemic, which occurred during the middle stages of the build. We have been focused on the cost control of the project and monitoring the changing design of the scheme, to meet all our client’s requirements.

Our Role:

Lasting approximately 18 months in development, our role with the development has been varied. Our role includes:

Contract Administration
We position ourselves as a liaison between the construction company and its stakeholders. Our work determines the accuracy, compliance and efficiency of each contract and ensures that the contract terms are adhered to.

Quantity Surveyors & Cost Consultants
Our role in this capacity covers a range of activities which may include cost planning, value management, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, lifecycle costing, tendering, valuation, dispute resolution and cost estimating.

Employer’s Agent
We are appointed by our Client to represent them and their interests throughout the building contract, covering the design and build phases of the development. QS Support provides this role with comprehensive management knowledge and proven experience in guiding the project through the planning, design and construction stages, to successful completion.
